The Constitutional Court of Bulgaria launches the official website of the Balkan Constitutional Courts Forum. The website is available at https://balkanforum.eu/. It brings together up-to-date information about the regional organization, which was established on the initiative of the Bulgarian Constitutional Court in 2023 in Sofia.
Quick access to the new platform is also available through the Constitutional Court's website from the “Balkan Constitutional Courts Forum” menu.
The official website of the Balkan Constitutional Courts Forum provides details about the history, mission, and vision of the organization, as well as its members—Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Turkey. Active links also redirect to the official websites of the constitutional jurisdictions.
Information about the annual meetings held within the framework of the forum, as well as seminars and round tables, is part of the active content of the internet portal. It maintains a photo and video archive of events, and the "News & Upcoming events" section provides up-to-date press information.
The Balkan Constitutional Courts Forum aims to uphold the values of constitutionalism, strengthen the independence of the judiciary, and contribute to the development of democratic institutions in the Balkan region.
The organization's mission is to build bridges between constitutional courts in Southeast Europe and their partners in the European Union.
