A delegation of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria will take part in the Sixth Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice (WCCJ). The main topic of the forum, which will be held from 27 to 31 October 2025 in Madrid, is “Human Rights of Future Generations.”

The Bulgarian delegation to the discussions in the Spanish capital will include the President of the Constitutional Court, Pavlina Panova, the Constitutional Judges Prof. Yanaki Stoilov and Prof. Atanas Semov, as well as the Court’s Secretary General, Valentin Georgiev.

The WCCJ unites 124 Constitutional Courts, Councils and Supreme Courts from Africa, the Americas, Asia/Oceania and Europe, and promotes constitutional justice.

The first Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice was organised by the Venice Commission in 2009 and coincided with the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Council of Europe.
