Today, 03.11.2025, the Constitutional Court initiated constitutional case No. 14/2025 at the request of 59 members of the 51st National Assembly to establish the unconstitutionality of the amendment to Article 8 of the State Agency for National Security Act and the repeal of Article 7, paragraph 2, item 5 of the Law on the Management and Functioning of the National Security Protection System, adopted by the National Assembly on 02.10.2025, published in issue No. 90 of 28 October 2025 of the State Gazette.
The rapporteur for the case is Judge Sasho Penov.
