At its sitting on August 4, 2026, the Constitutional Court admitted for consideration on the merits the petition filed by 53 members of the 52nd National Assembly seeking a declaration that Article 113a of the Health Act (published in the State Gazette, No. 70 of 2004, last amended in State Gazette No. 68 of 2026). The reporting judge in Case No. 17/2026 is Judge Borislav Belazelkov.
All 12 constitutional judges participated in the sitting.
