On May 26, 2026 The Constitutional Court initiated Constitutional Case No. 12/2026 at the request of the Administrative Court of Silistra, Third Panel, to determine the unconstitutionality of Article 574, paragraph 10 of the Insurance Code in the part “from the date of dispatch of the notification” and Article 143, paragraph 10, sentence 1 of the Road Traffic Act, due to their inconsistency with Articles 4 and 56 of the Constitution.
The rapporteur for the case is Judge Atanas Semov.
