Today, 11 November 2025, the Constitutional Court initiated Constitutional Case No. 17/2025 at the request of 53 members of the 51st National Assembly to establish the unconstitutionality of the amendments to Article 14, paragraphs 1, 2, and 3, Article 15, paragraph 1, Article 16, paragraphs 2, 3, 4(b), items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the State Agency for Intelligence Act and Article 7, paragraph 1, items 5, 6, and 7 of the Management and Functioning of the National Security Protection System Act, adopted by the 51st National Assembly on October 10, 2025, readopted on October 30, 2025, and promulgated in issue No. 94 of November 4, 2025, of the State Gazette.
