Today, 11 November 2025, the Constitutional Court initiated Constitutional Case No. 16/2025 at the request of 53 members of the 51st National Assembly to establish the unconstitutionality of the amendments to Article 19(v) items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Special Intelligence Means Act, adopted by the National Assembly on October 10, 2025, re-adopted on October 30, 2025, and published in issue No. 94 of November 4, 2025, of the State Gazette.
The rapporteur for the case is Judge Sasho Penov.
