Today, 06.10.2025, the Constitutional Court initiated constitutional case No. 13/2025 at the request of 49 members of the 51st National Assembly to declare the unconstitutionality of Article 8, paragraph 4, and Article 9, paragraphs 8 and 9, of the Anti-Corruption Act and of the Resolution on the Adoption of Rules for the Activities of the Nomination Committee and the Conduct of the Procedure for Nominating, Reviewing Candidates, and Selecting Members of the Anti-Corruption Commission, adopted by the 51st National Assembly on July 11, 2025.
The rapporteur for the case is Judge Galina Toneva.
